Yes, but behind the jokes, the problem never went away. Companies and client creators will not follow any ethical manifesto. Censorship, shadow bans, algorithms...

Right now, even in this small community, after doing shit, no one even apologized, and some even found it a manifestation of freedom.

"Yeah, we spit on you. This is our algorithm. If you don't like it, don't use it." At the same time, they exist thanks to the many administrators of different relays. What if the relay owners say to Primal users "sorry but you are blocked" (I realize this is a difficult to do in real life). In that case, it would certainly look mean, and it would be noticed, but for some reason Primal's meanness was hidden under "It's their right. We're all free."

The #freeralf is a wonderful distraction and great for letting off steam, but it's also manipulative.

I have nothing against Primal, I just don't use their crappy client. And I really like the #freeralf joke, but from the whole story I'd like a clearer explanation than just "now Ralf is free".

He was free from the beginning.

Why else would it not go away?

Ask yourself, how do you matter?
