Having a "creativity block"? You may need some of these doses to get your **mojo** back:
- Have you had enough sleep? Sometimes, when we do not get enough sleep, our brains are foggy, and we feel constantly tired. The last thing your brain wants is to create.
- Are you feeling stressed lately? This can definitely block your creativity because you are in a fight-or-flight mode.
- Have you been out in nature and gotten some sunshine? Nature is therapeutic; it grounds you and helps you recharge by simply being in nature.
- Have you been sitting and not moving for the entire day? When you move, your brain grooves. It gives you that serotonin hit—happy chemicals. This is very good for your creativity.
- Get some inspiration elsewhere. Try watching something funny to take your mind off what to create. Sometimes, overthinking can create too much pressure, which then leads to stress.
- Journaling is an amazing way to get your mojo back. Express anything you want to say that is solely for you. Having this space to express yourself is very therapeutic.
- Self-hypnosis or meditation: both work by spending time with your inner self and facing what has been bothering you. Get to the bottom of why you are struggling. Most often, the answer is right before you, so give yourself time to reflect. Self-hypnosis or meditation is great for this.
