Real-Time Lightning payments embedded in the license file.

I used to manage the Digital Media Studio at Texas Tech University and we had a plethora of licenses that allowed usage of Adobe Suite, Autodesk Suite, etc.

I always thought that instead of paying the monumental fee for a single seat licence of, say Unreal Engine (pro), there could be a streaming payment of sats every time the program sensed mouse movements/button clicks/click and drags/rendering inside the active window of the application.

A "pay per use" if you will. Could be implemented in damn near everything. Problem with this is that it bolsters the "subscription model" of the big company apps. Still, I think there is something there until we replace all this shit with the old "Buy once, pay for upgrades" model.
