Not only that. Many people actively participating in bitcoin ecosystem are utterly misinformed & uninformed.
Just 2 days back I was talking with people with business focused on repairing broken ASICs.
They didn't know what Lightning is and despite repairing ASICs they didn't invest single penny in bitcoin but invested money in stuff like Solana and some shitcoins I never heard of.
Sad story.
There was this mining company pitching the idea of selling mined bitcoin for eth staking yield and then selling the yield to invest in mining. How dumb do you have to be to not know that you'd be better served instead putting that bitcoin to work on Lightning?
