Same, I'm not worried though, and the engine that runs it all and they recently announced "Pear Runtime" which will be fully open source when released. So we aren't trusting at the protocol layer and anyone can build a different, but still compatible chat app if they wanted to when we get to that point.

Its a seriously awesome protocol stack. I've been working with someone on a project of my own. Super stoked to get to do a quiet alpha launch, hopefully very soon.
