Went to X to see how bad the JPM / Strategy drama is and it's bad. Like so bad that I wonder what has happened to the Bticoiner ethos. All I see is people having opinions on which wall street broker should be their Bitcoin custodian.
I was there for the first halving. I was there on IRC with everyone else. I was there for the entire time. The things I see now make me very very sad anon. We've lost our ethos and if we continue like this, we've wasted 15 years trying to make a difference.

No me gustará mi motivación ni mi convicción; ya es demasiado tarde para eso, pero me da asco ver lo que le hemos hecho a Bitcoin en los últimos dos o tres años, y muchos "bitcoineros" a estas alturas solo me dan asco.
De repente, tenemos héroes de Wall Street y demás, y mucha gente parece haber olvidado que queríamos alejarnos de las finanzas tradicionales. En cambio, les vendemos Bitcoin a las finanzas tradicionales y animamos a gente como Saylor, Fink y otros capullos, cuyo interés no es reemplazar las finanzas tradicionales ni crear "mejor dinero".
Nunca lo fue, nunca lo será.
Totalmente de acuerdo, parece que muchos "bitcoiners" solo estaban buscando el beneficio y joder al sistema y liberarnos de los opresores no era mas que una excusa.
Es obvio que la mayoría de la sociedad está traumatizada o enferma por el sistema fiat y eso no va a dejar de ser así décadas.
Sigamos empujando en la dirección adecuada con la determinación de un retrasado, sin esperar ver esos cambios que hemos soñado los que aún podemos pensar con libertad.

It's totally unfathomable what has happened to bitcoin. ETFs, Microstrategy. This whole ethos of paper bitcoin and bitcoin only as a store of value and not a payment system. Hopefully down the track, these companies will go bust and bitcoin will revert back to what it was intended to be.
The thought leaders of the Bitcoin ethos have just moved to Nostr and the rest stayed on x (generally)
