I do not really care about bitcoin on-chain tx fees, if it's too high and can't afford for day to day transactions I will use lightning ⚡️

I can send BTC thru CashApp or Strike to family and friends for free using a 3 layer service provider or anyone on the world 🌎 I don’t understand this scammers. #Bitcoin is working as intended fuck the FUD
Lmao. Those apps don't exist in my country, what then?
So you guys don’t have a custodial provider where you live?
There is WoS for eg. But thats not the point, CashApp, Strike, even WoS who pulled out of the US, require KYC, can ban you etc, it's fine to send some money sure, but also PayPal and transfer wise but those don't replace Bitcoin. If bitcoin requires custodial third parties then it's useless.
That’s where you guys are wrong! Bitcoin always need it other layers to scale Satoshi and Hal say this ok. Bitcoin is an asset, you buy, HODL and use it for a raining day period! But that’s just my opinion I don’t care about KYC #Bitcoin I got my guns to protect me against attack that’s the only reason why I don’t like KYC because it creates a honey pot 🍯 database the hackers can steal and I can become a target 🎯
The problem is that custodial apps and KYC is that they can ban you or block your txs, or just charge fees, or simply not be an option in certain countries. What you are saying is like saying that everyone can just use Coinbase and ask for their debit card, none of these are solutions to someone who really needs bitcoin. Can someone in Iran use these apps? Lol. As for just using onchain for holding and nothing else how much can you buy and self custody if the fees become 500usd or 1k?
So people in Iran 🇮🇷 don’t have access to an exchange to buy Bitcoin and withdraw?
Run Fedimint.
Still waiting for nostr:npub126ntw5mnermmj0znhjhgdk8lh2af72sm8qfzq48umdlnhaj9kuns3le9ll to release clearnet on their platform tor is useless in iOS 😞
You can buy thru Robosats and receive lightning ⚡️ put it in your no custodial lightning app and transact? Right
Lightning is not independent from L1. How can newbies adopt Lightning at the current fee rates?
When suddenly getting surprised by these fees, things can get dicey. There's a sudden urgency to convince your counterparts to either pay the transaction fees or switch to lightning. I can open big channels but to make a $30 fee worth it, it has to be a really big channel.
