noStrudel map image search using #geohash is pretty cool.

* a URL with hash should center the map and roughtly zoom in to the right level (that would also fix the back button, which currently jumps me to the USA)
* selecting an image should highlight the map pin (already works the other way around) and not automatically navigate away
Its been a while since anyone has used the map feature :)
I would love to make it more usable although I don't think ill have time to work on it for a while
If you don't mind though you can open an issue on github or gitworkshop (nostr) so that at least I won't forget about it
Nice feature! Is the map getting the location information from the nostr events? Quite sparse around here...
Yes, from the g tag. Not many people have that on and not all clients support it (just nostr:npub142gywvjkq0dv6nupggyn2euhx4nduwc7yz5f24ah9rpmunr2s39se3xrj0?).
yeah, the geohash is listed in the event in a 'g' tag. I think its defined in NIP-52 https://github.com/nostr-protocol/nips/blob/master/52.md
If you "View Raw" on one of the events you can see it has a bunch of 'g' tags
