There's some kind of rule - when they do bad stuff, they have to broadcast it. Idk why. Its just the pattern I see.

~no.~ this is an example of overpatterning

Are you sure? What if you're underpatterning? How would you know?

I don't think there is anything essentially novel about it. It's a scifi format story of an insider of a cult realizing the doctrines are false, in this case because the cult leader gets caught in the net they created, exposing the fraud.

All cults are prejudicial.

The situation we are in now is a cult writ large, with thousands of tentacles of insiders and handled outsiders. The precrime is just a variant of original sin doctrines which conflates flaws with malice accused upon all.

Equilibrium is exactly the same theme, also. Christian bale is way cooler than Tom cruise.

yes. on this i am sure. "when they do bad stuff, they have to broadcast it. Idk why."

"they" who?

"they do" what. what is done?

"they do bad stuff" examples?

"they" who the same as the first "they"?

"have to" works cited please, like a signed contract, enforcement mechanism or secret law of physics peer reviewed

"broadcast" what, with what, what does this mean, broadcast? by metaphor? actually? what tech?

"it" im presuming you mean the "bad stuff" here, if im wrong, correct me

looool captain precision coming in hot 🔥

nah fam it's just the classic vibe - when the spooks and their corporate frenemies build another panopticon toy, the usual suspects pop up with press releases and academic papers practically screaming LOOK WHAT WE CAN DO NOW

palantir shouting about predictive policing, china bragging about social credit algorithms, that creepy school in china with mood-sensing cameras, frontex dropping case studies about "risky travelers" - they literally *do* broadcast this shit lol, it's their flex

sure there's way more running in the shadows (that's the actual problem), but the hubris is real - always gotta peacock about it at conferences and in mil-tech magazines

~no.~

press releases and academic papers are about attracting investment

they do not: practically scream

as if they must disclose the truth while being tortured

if you could manage to tone it down, please. the hyperbolic isnt a strength.

a much more mundane example to ground this in more reality re: criminology

(like a hint! 😉 if that is fun for you)

(another hint! on a different tip 😉if this is fun for you!)

a fun prompt question: was Tolkien Illuminati and signaling his membership because he had to so that's why he wrote about Barad-dûr, also known as the Dark Tower, located in Mordor, with the flaming Eye of Sauron symbolizing his watchful power?
