Swan, Strike and Cashapp are no better than the others. They are not friends of Bitcoin, they only seek to profit from Bitcoin. There is a big difference.

Disagree on cash app. It’s a great way to expose normies to bitcoin (even though custodial iou as far as I know). Also great on-ramp of fiat.
Sure you can say the same about the others too. But getting people ‘to’ bitcoin is not enough, if they can and will steal your funds without recourse. This is no better than traditional banks that we are trying to leave behind.
Have you seen the prices for the Bitcoin conference 2023 $700 for basic ticket $8k for a whale ticket I’m all about bitcoiners meet ups to put such a high capitalistic value to attend… Bitcoin doesn’t fix greed shame
I agree. This is not how we onboard the masses. It's a bit of a turn-off for me to attend. I'm looking forward to other conferences springing up that are geared more towards the plebs.
