People sleeping on electrum has their own very performant implementation of lightning that can be run on your phone, seamless cooperation with your electrum onchain wallet.
Does Electrum's Lightning implementation require you to stay online all the time? I'm mostly interested in paying once in a while. Would be great if the UX is something similar to Phoenix.
Itd work well for paying every once in a while. The lightning node syncs when you open the app so as long as its opened every once in a while the syncing doesn't take long.
