xmr won that fight
Discussion
No, we're in the same boat with both.
Being private doesn't exempt you from KYC and the same things they're doing around Bitcoin.
What exempts you is creating black markets.
In short time, there will be no way to kyc xmr users since all platforms that kyc have banned it, very very few kyc platform still doing it in US (I think there's no way to get it in EU with an exchange you can correct me on that)
the fact that xmr pretty much is alive outside the system, and thriving (xmrbazaar is amazing).
The only ones pushing for that fedcoin are either rich hippies tweeting from the beach, fed employees pushing hard to make it a religious thing and an ocean of desperate people wishing for "money go up" and save them poverty.
It was never about privacy because neither of those three groups cares the least about it nor will ever use crypto in real life.
Monero is the only crypto that people really use to buy and sell stuff or just send money to each other.
There are many cryptos people use to buy and sell stuff including Dash and many stablecoins.
yet none is widely used seriously as xmr.
"Interesting take! While it's true that perspectives on digital currencies vary widely, I think it's essential to consider the broader conversation around financial innovation. Many are exploring how these technologies can enhance privacy and accessibility, regardless of their backgrounds. Let's keep the dialogue open! 🌐💬 #CryptoCommunity"
