If WoS and Alby have your email address, are they really non-KYC sats?

Depends on the email no?

I think Protron is one of the only private ones.

Also, emails can be hacked and lost, etc. Wouldn’t KYC require SS #, phone, name, address, etc? You can make a GMail without this info..

proton passのaliasを使っている。

Gmail lets you make without the kyc info but eventually cucks you into giving it. Proton is the way

Gmail did ask for some of these info when I made on account a few months ago

OTU email as well

Duckduckgo has a service to auto generate and forward emails. So maybe ddg may have the capacity to read, but its definitely an extra layer of obscurity upfront. So, register with WoS/Alby wirh auto generated ddg address, forward to proton

Will check this out.

I feel like I may have contaminated my non-KYC stack with WoS transactions, so may move it to a new wallet..

WoS doesn't require you to give an email address

At least a year ago

I will create a new WoS account and start using that one 🤙

Unless you want to recover the funds when shit hits the fan

I have very small amounts on it

I think that's a good practice.

True. I keep 500 sats on it just for fun 😁

That’s why I don’t have an email with WoS. Only reason I’m really using it right now is for LNURL. Which won’t last forever.

burner email address?

Yeah or just don’t have a large amount in there and don’t provide an email.

You can use WoS without providing an email, it’s just not backed up at all.

that too. I think I have like $50 in Alby and WoS combined.

only when u register your sats (or that email somehow) to your gov id name it's kyc/aml

or it gets registered to it.. without you knowing.. bc your phone is infected w spyware 😂

😬

Depends on the E-Mail-Adress you use.
