There’s also a difficulty for them to understand how the “nostr ceo” could allow unsavory content to exist and not be removed.

Like I hate seeing the nasty shit some trolls post, but I mute them and move on.

In return, I get to cultivate a community of people who are trying to build something good.

I think this type of personal responsibility is foreign to most people, because we’ve never rest been the one responsible for our own feeds. It’s a mindset change.

Good point i was in a tunnel vision looking at the majority of people here

Not even taking into account a lot of people want to see punishment for what they deem incorrect

Humans have always desired different levels of freedom. The problem arises when one group of people try to force the other to ascribe to their levels.

Right now, this protocol is so young it’s the wild west. We are going to see some nastiness, because the curation tools are not perfect, yet.

Im okay with it, because I am okay with the firehose of humanity, type of freedom. I can curate my feed and I’m okay with being exposed to some undesirable content to have that responsibility. I don’t believe I have the right to dictate to others my definition of freedom, as I wouldn’t accept them to put limits on my ability to view it all either.

Micro relays, lists, and other curation tools will make all of this more digestible for both camps and this is why nostr will win.

"i dont believe i have the right to dictate to others my Definition of freedom".

You got one hell of a way with words wolf

Thanks Fish!
