We see it as some badass tech that should translate to sheer magic to normies. Sadly the normies can only see whatever Whoopi Goldberg tells them to. Therefore, most shit that actually matters and is wonderful is just confusing and scary to them.

At the moment lightning ⚡️ is terrible for normies. I try many wallets, there’s no one solution today. The „coolest” ones showed me „not enough” funds to what you want, I had plenty. „No path”, „channels good” not working, cannot close, cannot send to main chain. One non custodial works well, but too need liquidity to open channels. Custodial had the least problems. And then the new one works well but is expensive with liquid.
So lightning is unbelievably retarded today. Its either with some form of ecash tomorrow or liquid with lightning or Ark… Idk, but right now for a person that has life, lightning is just an inconvenience. It shouldn’t be how you have to interact with #Bitcoin in 2024.
