I have lived within 500 ft of a church for over a decade, and I attended their service for the first time today. I am really glad that I did.
It was a very interesting and positive experience.

What was your main takeaway?
There was a discussion about Truth, objective Truth, and Grace. It made so much sense out of some internal struggles. Not big struggles, but I am often wishing I had some guidance when confused and the Truth and Grace duality realization today absolutely has helped me see we need both. I want to slow down a lot, and see things through this lens. Truth gives order to chaos, direction, a mission. Grace allows for forgiveness, another chance to get back on track, flexibility, navigation. Just a big helpful way to see challenges in my life and a path for navigating them.
Love it! This might be my favorite verse of all time:
“Ask, and it will be given to you; seek, and you will find; knock, and it will be opened to you.
For everyone who asks receives, and the one who seeks finds, and to the one who knocks it will be opened" (Matthew 7:7-8)
Ah. A favourite theme of mine! So rich.
I left the church for 20 years. Brought my family into one this year. We have missed only 2 of the past 17 Sundays and I can tell you, we have all been profoundly and undeniably blessed. God gets us through the hard times, by leading strong men to create good times and I'm glad many are turning to follow Him. Stay blessed. #Churchstr #Godstr
