Yup.
If you aren't lean yet, then it makes sense to stay in that zone and periodically go lower fat.
Eventually you'll have the opposite "problem": lean with very hot metabolism = eat normal amount of fat, continuing high carb, while staying lean without the need to kill yourself in the gym.
