selling covered calls on Ibit when he gets at the top of this range like much over 100

selling cash covered puts if it gets to the bottom of the range (90ish) cuz if they put it to me at that price I'd love to have it

80% annual roi

very conservative strategy if you believe in Bitcoin for the long-term

Great idea on selling the puts. Easy money. I’m scared to sell covered calls. Good way to lose some iBit. How far OTM are you writing the calls?

funny you should mention that , lol

if Bitcoin closes over 105k on the 24th and I made a bad bet

at the moment closing in on 110k so I'm starting to look like a huge loser lol

I wrote the call at 59 on ibit, and received 100$

at course &speed they're going to take my Bitcoin

sad....

but things r pretty volatile right now so we'll see

Looking for people to talk about this stuff with here. Been using MSTY in tax advantaged accounts to stack IBIT.

If your covered calls ever get in the money or close to it, you can just roll it. Buy to close the current covered call and then sell one the month later at either same strike or slightly higher. You’ll be paid more for the later expiration, enough that you can use that premium to pay for buying to close the initial option. Not ideal because you want the options to expire, but probably better than getting forced to sell your underlying stock.

You can keep rolling like this indefinitely!
