I think that we poked the bear one too many times in our relationship with Ukraine, and that Putin reacted rationally to it. I think that Trump is a master negotiator, and that he it's handling the situation in exactly the way he intended to. We'll see if it's the correct tactic in the long run.

I'm not defending the actions of Russia in invading Ukraine, and I'm not defending the US in supporting the war effort. Neither side is innocent, but I support peace negotiations as this war is not benefitting Ukranians in any way.
