What's in this picture? 🤯💎

Umm, a dusty light fixture, a lithograph, a figure made of nuts, a crown made of dollars, a couple walls... and a ceiling 😅

I really should dust more often. 🫠😂

It all looks so cool, wouldn't have guessed what they were made out of 😆

I'd rather be outside but I'd blow away right now 😂

dusty light fixture is made out of glass, isn't it, it looks like some crazy glassblower stuff

Yes, glass. It's a pain to clean 😅

i bet

i highly recommend damp microfibre cloths, they are great for glassy things

That works pretty well. They all come off so usually I just wash them in soapy water. I have not felt like doing so recently 😂

yeah, i've not been sweeping my floor as much as usual lately also...

i have all these rugs on the floor now and they are a pain in the arse... i want to swap them all out for giant sound absorbing artworks on the walls and get everything except my bed and computer desk removed from the apartment so i can return to my happy sweeping

💯 rugs are overrated. Except nice Persians but that gets to be impractical.

i hate them all

i just want a smooth flat, black, heat absorbing surface

black surfaces are kinda cool, they remind you to mop more often, every mark is visible

there's a lot of things about the way people build shit that is just pure mindless repetition of what daddy did, even though we have far better options now

some things are good tho... kiln fired bricks are very practical, but cinderblocks are a shitcoin, so is cement based renders, so ugly after 5-10 years, and half of europe is built of this shit now, it's pathetic

The modern home can be an absolute marvel or total junk. I suppose it's always been that way.

It's actually calm (I may just fall over) and it's a beautiful day. It's not going last long though, there's a storm coming in mid week.

I could go for some calm right now.

Some days it just wears on a person. 🥴

We've had a relatively mild winter, which really just makes it that much harder to be patient for spring. 😅

No doubt. 10 more days. About a month and a half before I can even think of sowing seeds I saw one blade of green grass the other day‼️ 🤣

haha that's nothing, you need to see how wild the winds are here in madeira... experienced the same on both north and south - just the south side is dry and i hate that

can't leave any door without a stopper or 3+lb weight stopping it from moving if you open two ends of the house at once, or slam, slam, slammitty slam...

before i'd been here a week i managed to have that happen to me but fortunately of course the balcony door was wide open so i asked my neighbours for help and they came through with a ladder to get up on the balcony and i was saved

winds that blow things about are routine... they even tie up bundles of grape vine sticks after they cut them back so they don't blow about
