Gold has outperformed Bitcoin over the past 4 years 🤯

Who’s to say that Bitcoin can’t outperform gold in the next 4 months?
I definitely anticipate that!
If you told a bitcoiner in Feb 2021 that gold was going to outperform bitcoin over the next 4 years, they would have laughed in your face 😂🤷♂️
Equilibrium is being met. Was getting bored of the other direction anyway.
Don't fret.
Gold has been around a lot longer. It takes time! 🤙
10x in 25 years still isn't a great investment compared to bitcoin. That's an average 9.5% growth per year, and we are measuring it from its peak
I don't believe there is anything that was a good investment compared to bitcoin if your timeframe begins before 2017.
Who wants to hold chunks of metal in their house or have paper gold. Price performance is only one part of the equation. What about storage, security, divisibility, transferability, sellability?
I can easily securely store my BTC then sell any fraction of it, at literally any time of day, without anyone’s permission, to anyone on the planet. Hell, even off planet as longs as they’re connected to the Bitcoin network.
Gold cannot compete with that. Hard stop. 🛑
Agreed.. but at the same time, it is surprising to me that this hard chunk of metal that no one wants to store in their house has outperformed bitcoin over the past 4 years.
You're not surprised by this?
