I've never started anew before John, it was just a nym change previously. This is a completely clean slate. Just felt like I wanted a fresh start. I don't think I'll be shitposting anymore, just replies I think. I've also put (This will be difficult to convey because if I write the word it won't make this post visible to me, ha ha, but I've put the name of the crypto currency that we all know and love) into my blocked words list. So I'm only seeing notes that don't mention it. So, there we have it. Still here, new approach🫂.

Cool approach. I hope you get some value here. The token that shall not be named is great but I also don’t come here to talk about. I’m here for the funsies ⭕️
Just stumbled across the account earlier this morning and liked some stuff you were saying about music. Followed on a whim/hunch
You listen to electronic music/techno ?
Used to a lot more. Goes in phases with music listening for me, but yeah, fan of electronic primarily. Taste a bit scattered but leans experimental (I guess).
Would love any recs on good sites/blogs out there these days to discover current stuff any of you might have
If you like experimental, my favourite artist is Nicolas Jaar. Check out his album space is only noise. (2010) (He was 20 years old when space is only noise came out). Excellent album. Also check out Darkside, one of his most known projects, with Dave Harrington. Look for the album Psychic (2013).
Familiar with jaar and particularly that album. Very good. Will have to check out Darkside 👀
Do you know Jaar’s album Sirens (2016) ?
Prob have listened once but not really. Noting down. Some random examples of stuff I’ve enjoyed that spring to mind (nobody asked but too bad): Vessel - Order of Noise, Blondes - Swisher, a lot of stuff by James Holden.
Ah james Holden. Border community records. Love that label
You know Nathan Fake?
Listen to his album Drowning in a sea of love (2006) and Hard Islands (2009)
Will have to check out. Heard of him via some Holden remixes (sky was pink). Thanks
The sky was pink James Holden remix is a classic. Great track
From the same label, Petter - Six Songs EP (2004) is one of my favourites
After 10 seconds I can tell I like it! Added to playlist for next gym trip. Could do this all day. One weird thing about electronic, is there’s a good deal of stuff I liked enough at one time, but when I go back to it years later just doesn’t do it anymore. I find it’s more the case than with other genres.
Oh yeah, Petter album is bumpin now…
