My friend nostr:npub1utx00neqgqln72j22kej3ux7803c2k986henvvha4thuwfkper4s7r50e8 is giving away free tech support right now. I'm giving away 5K sats to the first 3 people that DM him, ask for tech support, and post a screenshot below.

You have a good taste of the client you choose

is there a shortcut to have “enter” send the message on desktop, as it currently puts the cursor on the next row? 🤗

Am very old version of Bw put ctrl enter hint text right above the send button but a later design by nostr:npub1r0rs5q2gk0e3dk3nlc7gnu378ec6cnlenqp8a3cjhyzu6f8k5sgs4sq9ac removed the hint. We planned to add customizable hot key map but never had time to do it.

The idea is to have something like ctrl+h to pop up a help menu and users can see all sorts of guidance there.

Once we finish group chat, will visit back the UX issues.

It wasn’t meant to remove the hint. Prob just missed it.

Haha. Don’t worry. The design is tricky and I believe now with NostrDesign, we can make better things. I need to boost my productivity to catch up with the design.

lmao

Just an “enter” is most commonly used by other apps, so using “enter”, there’s no need for “hints”. The hint menu can show other shortcuts, but “enter” to send message is most intuitive.

Some apps let you choose between enter or enter ctrl for send and new line respectively. Therefore a help menu is necessary

switch functions

ctrl+enter goes to a now row

enter send the message

fixed

make it a toggle, if you want to have it swappable either way

new row*

you are the most talented earth on UX

i appreciate the compliments, i’m just a newbie in the field more than anything 🤗💜

DM on desktop browser, this is the one to go for.
