Public health messaging around the world should be “go outside, go for a walk, get plenty of sunlight, exercise, drink more water, and eat as little processed/packaged food as possible.”

But that’s *not* the messaging, because the State doesn’t give a flying fuck about the mental or physical health of the populace. In fact, it benefits the State to keep the populace fat, sad, and neurotic because fat, sad, and neurotic people are easy to manipulate. Instead of encouraging people to be healthy, the State perpetuates insane nothings that you can be fat and also “healthy,” and that mental illness is actually a badge of honor that makes you special.

So, I say to you, go outside, go for a walk, get plenty of sunlight, exercise, drink more water, and eat as little processed/packaged food as possible.

Subvert the State by taking care of your body and your mind 🫂 nostr:note1v7y394sttjk3zcynrac7f6fjuffkr93e9al8k3xyqm6ak47mzdjqrf52f7

It should also be to stack sats. The mental health crisis exploded after 1971. A lot of poor people don’t have the time to do these things. Even if they did, some sunlight isn’t going to help much if you’re losing your home.

And sleep!

The mental illness as a badge of honor is insidious. Never thought I’d live in a society where people are proud to be unhealthy then healthy 😯 but here we are, and so we work to fix it 👍🏻

Ahh that’s the solution! Doctors just have to tell patients to exercise, eat less, and touch grass. Why didn’t we think of that sooner?
