On iOS, you can tap the top of the screen (in the middle) to go to the top of a feed. Not just in Damus but system wide. Is there something similar on Android?

It is a fact. Whether the scroll thing is also a patent is my guess, but seems likely. Patents are fiat
It depends on the #Android spin you're using, as with most things Android, it varies just as some android phones have battery lives that will blow iPhones out of the water while others suck.
As long as you know what to look for I really think Android is better because, you can choose a phone with an amazing aerial and battery life but not so good a camera for half the price of an #iPhone.
In other words I can sacrifice features I don't care about and save a lot of #money.
