Omg our lunch we just had was soo good! We had loaded sweet potatoes topped with leftover shredded beef, butter and sour cream. And a side of diced avocado. If you want to try something different, try a loaded sweet tater😊. #foodstr #homesteading

Sounds yummy!
I might mention that to my wife. She was asking for meal ideas…
It was very very tasty!
Oh yeah I know someone who eats sweet potatoes like that every time nostr:npub10dmj4r4678jlwwz80cq06dre23n767rpm498lrj0xmcwk7wuns4shu7j3f
Truth, this is the best way to eat a sweet potato! In the south everyone eats them with sugar and butter sometimes cinnamon. 😣
I like em either just plain roasted, or just plain roasted with sour cream.
At Thanksgiving, I’ll put orange cranberry relish inside as a treat, and that’s as sweet as I get with them unless I’m trying to make a dessert 😂
My aunt in law makes an amazing sweet potato casserole with a pecan topping… but I eat it for dessert, not as a side. Better than any pie 😚 👌
Yeah the pecan topping is a thanksgiving classic at my house, but it's a dessert for me!
