I want a seamless on-boarding, where users could get an #[5] or #[6] account automatically set up if they don’t have one, with nip47 ready to go. Happy to work with any wallet who wants to make this happen.

Next AppStore version of damus has this, unless you’re referring to amethyst then not sure. You can upload to https://nostr.build and copy the link into your profile.

It varies from client to client. Some will allow you to upload via the client and others make you upload these images elsewhere and copy the URL, to them paste that url into the client. If you have to do the latter, look into using nostr.build to host your images.
That would be the optimal experience. Having to leave an app to sign up for a "helper" service is confusing and a turn off for the masses. Maybe #[9] can help! 🤙🏻

Prefer something other than WoS. They only use moonpay for processing payments and moonpay is a disaster with the worst customer service.
Id love to see optional dev fees built into that wallet that would sprinkle sats to client developers

Idea is that for every new #damus profile and user onboarded a wallet is created.
Ideally this is tied via nostr wallet connect, so that damus users do not have to exit app to zap.

Sounds like a good idea.
Not sure if it can be completely in the background - as #[6] said there are separate Terms of Service to the nostr client.
But maybe there is a nice way to do it.
