Hey! I know you have some WordPress experience, I'd love to see an extension that makes sharing new blog posts to Nostr an easy part of the work flow. There's a really new plugin called Nosturtium that looks promising but still doesn't quite work.
Anyways, something like that would be huge for regular content creators. Just wondering if you had any thoughts?
Why plugin? You still need to write some summary, so I guess it's just like any other content. You write something and paste a link.

Yes. There are integrations for other platforms already. So, say you run a podcast. You have an announcement post full of links and information relevant to the episode. Rather than post that content on 5 different platforms, you make 1 WordPress post and it shares that content to connected platforms as posts.
Something like this would be great for posting Nostr notes without an extra step.
with following wordpress best practices you always add or generate an excerpt for every post you write so this should be not a problem :)
Hey, yes this should be doable. I have still no clue how to work with nostr. Would you have a rough concept on what I would have to research for the nostr part? Would it require to have a relay or anything? Or you think it would suffice to add the nostr privkey to WordPress to make a connection an send posts to nostr?
I don't think you would need a relay, it seems to me you would only really need to be able to write notes based on the post contents, and publish to relays. I imagine the user would need to supply an nsec, and select what relays to use. Not sure what the simplest way to accomplish it would be, but that's the general idea.
