I highly recommend Sword and Scimitar, and Defenders of the West by Raymond Ibrahim. Really fantastic books on the crusades.

can you elaborate? i dont know much about the crusades, but I find it hard to justify the use of force and do not see it aligning with God’s word
Would you prefer Europe to be entirely Muslim? I would not.
as I understand the fact that christianity is the largest religion in Europe has more to do with the foundational work of the apostles and others who followed in their footsteps
