Under the sea themed sensory bin. Two bins, actually. First we've learned about corals, sea stars, stingrays and whales - on a preschool level. Then we set up our coral reef using blue rice, colored penne pasta, shells, and animal figurines. My daughter and I created the worksheets together. The colored penne pasta represented the corals that come in many colors.

Later today I switched the rice to kinetic sand. This time part of the sand was the "beach".
