One fun thing about strike (and I’m sure others) is when I get a $2.91 payout from eBay. I can still follow my 10% goes to bitcoin savings rule.

Thank you for reminding me that I had a strike account. Just enabled automatic investments in bitcoin. I totally forgot I have this account. Love their simplified minimalistic app.

Me too, I hadn’t been using it until I saw nostr:npub1cn4t4cd78nm900qc2hhqte5aa8c9njm6qkfzw95tszufwcwtcnsq7g3vle discussing how he was using it for btc backed loans to avoid the taxable event of using btc a few weeks ago. That said I’m using the “taxable event” as motivation not to touch my savings 😂

I just stumbled upon that to when I opened the app. I didn’t know it had the ability to do that. But it’s 10% interest. It’s a bit much.

I doubt I’ll use that feature, but it’s a better rate than pawning something or getting a payday loan.
