Big update: I've transitioned from the Alby desktop hub to the Alby cloud to keep my node up 24/7. 🚀⚡️ This means anyone can now click the ⚡️ symbol on Nostr to lightning me some sats or use ⚡️beitmenotyou@getalby.com to tip directly.

I've added this info to all my social media profiles to make it even easier. If you're using the Alby extension, it's showing some support that's now super simple. 💛

I'm excited to see how many community members adopt tipping through Alby. Every seat counts! Let's push forward decentralized support and creator empowerment. 🙌

This have been my hold up with going all in on Alby.

Was your non-cloud hub an ISP issue, computer/server issue?

My computer is on 24/7 so it could work for hosting my hub, but there is always that off chance it reboots, power outage, isp down (although since switching to Fiber this is less of an issue)

My current though process is keep Primal wallet (as an example) then just sweep to Alby hub or go straight on-chain via boltz to take custody

The support team is amazing and it's still self-custory as you own the recovery/seed phrases

The other benefit for me is that is you can personalised it with your own domain I did that with mine beitmenotyou@beitmenotyou.online though just my DNS and GitHub
