it's not fashion when it's copying. it has mostly been posers copying actual tattooers since the 1990s when individual style was replaced by copycating such as fake preripped jeans and other junk that people wear for 2 months and toss for the next thing to copy.

my grandfather had a tattoo done in the war, it looked like a blob by the 1970s. many people are going to be unhappy with their tattoo(s) later on. every 5-7 years all our cells are replaced... including skin... that will disrupt ink. #thinkaboitnit

I do agree with you. She would be beautiful without the excessive tattoos.

My theory is that mainstream media and the fashion industry at some point began framing men as weapons. In that sense, if you don't look like a weapon of mass destruction, you won't be recognized by the masses and you won't be successful even inside your own mind. You will be subtly bombarded by propaganda shaming you because you don't follow the "being a weapon" trend.

Never surrender to your own identity and your own preferences. I am not a weapon and I won't base my self-esteem on that. I prefer love over war

I think there’s a line where it becomes too much. A sleeve I think can be really nice if the tattoos are meaningful.

This particular example doesn't appeal to me. But, look, you only get at most 80 years or so as an adult to enjoy your skin—might as well have some fun with it.
