You have to start somewhere!
At the ground usually..
I see the base of something like a Mongolian yurt? 👀
Those are the 9 ceiling joists, salvaged from and abandoned building. I just layed them down for a feel of the space. It will be build with many matierals. Definitely some inspiration from a yurt type structure.
Niiice man, love those kind of projects!!
Would love to see the making of this! You could maybe post notes update on a note thread 🤩😁🤙🏼
I plan to. I was planning to do longer YouTube type videos but I think I am going to do little 20 second clips straight to nostr.build and just share it all here.
Please! 🤩✊🏼
Here's one on my solar mining setup. Maybe you say it already.
Hey Dave do you have a mechanism for making sure your home gets powered before the miners? I know bigger miners can turn the miners off and on based on excess capacity is that a possibility with a smaller setup?
My setup for my home use is intireley separate. It's not even in the same location. My mining setuo uses cheap smart outlets to toggle them on and off automatically as to not over drain the batteries. It does require some manual attention for weather changes and through out the year I adjust as well for the the seasons.
What is the diameter? A tent, a tipi? A rocket?🚀
You in Cochise?
Yessir.
Love those Ocotillo bro.
Yeah. They make fantasic fences. It's how we closed on our patio room. So much great stuff out here. We are just a couple miles form the Mexican border.
I love everything about that area. Santa Cruz as well.
Me too. I am biased since I was born in Tucson. And I have lived all over AZ. But I think it is magical down here. This is still the wild west. I am desert crature through and through.
Cochise county is the best for building for me as well. They have opt out permits so you can do mostly what you want. Although we haven't even done that because we are so well hidden.
As long as you have a water source down there you are golden.
Working on rain water collection. We live on a giant hill is there is a ton to collect when It rains just need storage. Also collection from solar panels once I get them. Mounted properly. For now, we have a neighbor a few miles away that trucks a lot of water in and helps us out. We only use 300 gallons a month currently.
