Good money is critical to a functioning society and human flourishing.
Bad money destroys society and is a threat to our species.
Can you spot when our money broke?
If we can fix the money, we can fix the world

I'd argue it started when bank officials at the Bank of England took out loans from the BoE to purchase bonds from the British crown to fund WWI... sooo 1914.
The Malthusians are so proud
That's absolutely a good mantra 🫂💜
Thieves and scammers prefer fiat and Keynesian economics for the same reason they prefer shitcoins.
Interestingly enough, even Keynes recognized the destructive power of inflation: “There is no subtler, no surer means of overturning the existing basis of society than to debauch the currency. The process engages all the hidden forces of economic law on the side of destruction, and does it in a manner which not one man in a million is able to diagnose.” John Maynard Keynes [The Economic Consequences of the Peace]

The so called forecast could be total BS. But who lives to count it?
That population number being a gentle curve up and down seems way off. I suspect it'll be a collapse with a steep drop off as the old die with no replacements.
1930 was the year of the Lambeth conference of the Anglican Church which as a first mover among churches world wide allowed the use of contraception...
1960 was the year the FDA approved the use of the birth control pill.

I am also losing the plot looking at these pictures.
The growth rate was certainly threat to our species but it looks like circa 1963 it stopped being so crazy.
I can only applaud that.
10bn in 2089 is still scary but then slowly going down gives me hope.
But I am completely baffled with what does these pictures have to do with money? or money with the growth rate.
Unless you mean that broken money fixed the growth rate - then I would start worrying about #bitcoin.
A world built on a foundation of lies promotes declining participation.
Bad money dragged forward all that growth and made it happen over too short of a time frame.
I often think lefty radicals mistake their issue with 'capitalism' for an issue with bad money. I think bad money is a more fundamental cause of the growing wealth gap.
