5th day without coffee. So far so good.

Goal is at least 1 month without it. Maybe more.

Will be a first in the last 20 years.

Was a coffee addict 20 to 10 years prior (7 or 8 cups/day), decreased naturally over time and for the last 2 years was just at 1 or 2 cups/day.

Replacing it with hot cocoa or matcha tea.

🫂 Glad you're making healthy choices.

No doing it for health reason, will probably come back to it in few weeks. But I like trying things. 1 week without coffee so far and it's pretty easy.

Plus hot cocoa is a banger. Will probably cycle coffee/cocoa/matcha in the future, like 1 month each or something.

10 days so far and still going good.

Still don't feel any need to drink a coffee. Which is wild bcs I was the type of guy that couldn't start his day without one.

Also still grounding 15-20 min a day (5 days a week minimum) while reading a book (right now it's "You can if you think you can" by Norman Vincent Peale).

And added 20 min of basketball those last 2 days. Goal is to do it at least 2 times a week (tue/thu), then add 2-3 little running sessions (mon/wed/friday). And after that adding some stretching/yoga sessions during the weekend. Let's see how it goes ;)

30 days done (1st sept -> 1st oct)

Wasn't that difficult tbh. I plan to drink coffee again but not on a daily basis, probably 2-3 coffee a week or something.

Hot cocoa is a nice replacement early morning, really enjoying it. And matcha for the rest of the day (up to 4pm, after that I don't drink anything else then water).

Like I said wasn't a heavy coffee drinker, more a regular one, drinking it daily for almost 2 decades. Still nice to know that I can stop it cold feet without problems.

In the same time I increased my daily physical activity :

* daily 5-6k steps

* 4 times a week : 25 min of basketball + 20 min grounding while reading a book (now it's "Power of Positive Thinking" by Norman Peale)

The thing that didn't stick so far is to mix sitting and standing position while working. More an habit problem then a physical difficulty. Will continue to try to implement it.

I see some little improvements in my lower back stiffness. Nothing too big, still need a lot of work on it, but it isn't worse then before even after starting to exercise again; so it's positive.

Next steps :

* add 10 push ups and 10 squats daily (then 15, 20, etc)

* stop eating chips lol
