I'm really excited about Nostr Wallet Connect- I am generalizing to enable the decentralized sending and receiving of records.
I'm also really excited about nostr wallet connect. I'm using it as the backend for payment terminals that forward sats to any lightning address with the scrub extention.
I can literally set ip payment terminals using free and open source software. A fiat maxi with a mobile phone can literally get the sats automatically converted to fiat. They can send that fiat to their bank account within 30 minutes. I'm not a fan of fiat, but credit card fees and chargebacks also suck.
Still a work in progress. Every user will automatically get their own publicly available POS terminal. https://safebox.dev
Also looking into integrating with backed inventory and fulfillment systems. Should have the POS (and app) demonstratable by summer’s end.
The beauty of NWC is that it decouples the sender from the receiver, but you still have ,100% cryptographic assurance that only the intended parties can read the messages.
For #nostr #safebox I have a service listening on behalf of the wallet npub and can execute transactions on behalf of this wallet. So long as the client can present the secret, it's super easy to integrate.
