You need onchain transactions to move your bitcoin onto LN in the first place (taking on all the problems LN comes with)

Even after that you still arent safe. You can still be force closed onto the base chain against your will forcing you to pay onchain fees again!...Then to move it back onto LN you have to pay onchain fees...yet again! 😱

It's bad enough now, but imagine when bitcoin gets to triple and even quadruple digit fees. Ouch.
