The presidency was responsible for giving Fauci the main role. It was known early on that Fauci was involved in gain of function research linked with SARS-CoV-2. You may think itβs impossible that #Trump was an accomplice to this operation but if you look at Trumpβs role as the controlled opposition character maybe things will start to make more sense. Trump played a key role in having half of the population to support the official prevention and treatment guidelines. The support for mask wearing and the vilification of early treatments such as HCQ was reinforced by Trumpβs abbrasive/ambiguous comments on these topics. These had for effect to have a large part of the population to take the opposite stance (rejection by association). This is a common propaganda tactic used by the social engineers via their asset, Trump.
