the videos feed looks like that. but the images feed looks fairly authentic.
Maybe it’s because I’m still logged into Olas with a test account so I only see the bot content. Nostur has the feed of olas images from my follows but not the for you stuff. Posted a couple photos and memes throughout the day and they got WAAAAAAAAAAAYYYY less responses than posting kind-1 stuff. I get why, but that’s counterproductive. Doesn’t really make sense to have different event kinds for images.
Early days. More clients will add support and/or migrate over soon.
I’m skeptical that it’s needed. If every client supports it and just shows all your images no matter which event kind, then there’s no reason to have multiple event kinds. And as it is now, it is creating content silos, which means your network doesn’t see all your content, which is the opposite of what anyone publishing content wants. It would make more sense to simply have an account that posts lovely photography, and another account that shitposts and memes, and people can follow either account as they see fit. Maybe it will play out differently, but I don’t see it catching on this way.
Tell me when i can download and use on normie App Store. I’ll sit in one of those chairs.

I find the Olas app kinda broken. Uploading is hit & miss, likes sometimes don't work. And forget about zaps. I want to like it, but it needs work.
Yea, very buggy. I’m sure that contributes to the lack of activity/engagement. There’s not really a good reason to spend any meaningful amount of time posting there until it gets better. Kind of a waste of time.
