I have been involved in diversity, equity, and inclusion work in the nonprofit sector since 2013. Way too many bitcoiners are stuck in the colorblind days of the 90s. Many are 50 years ahead in terms of monetary policy, technology, and economics, but 30 years+ behind in understanding DEI and its importance beyond just criticizing things as “woke”
Discussion
Isn’t being colorblind what we are striving for? Race becomes uninteresting. Like hair color.
Weird because as a technology bitcoin is very progressive in how it operates and functions over this archaic monetary system. You're right about this not translating to how many bitcoiners view alot of things outside of bitcoin
If so, that's clearly a failure of DEI advocates to communicate their goals and articulate problems without just calling people names.
brudda, u will show us dei wei?
glad ure here, broaden my horizons fren
