Wow.

I created a Facebook account just now to see what's available on marketplace. They somehow figured out my real name and birthday based on the email address (different one than the one I used back when I had an account many years ago) and when I tried to delete the account, it keeps saying that the password is wrong (despite it being fine for logging in). What sort of dystopian nightmare is this?

I tried to re-open my account that I closed 10y ago and now for some reason it finds that I have violated community standards. Didn’t think they had those back then.

Same thing happened to me. I closed my account like 8 years ago and I barely used it before closing it. So I have no idea how they’re flagging it as violating anything. I just wanted to sell some junk in my garage.
