Sometimes classical liberals and ancaps get mocked for pointing out that USA is not "real capitalism" as if that's the same as tankies defending failed states as not "real communism"

The difference is as you get closer to the capitalist ideal life seems to improve, while as you get closer to the communist ideal the pile of skulls seems to grow

Capitalism is the default state of trade. If I make a fishing pole and exchange it for some of your corn, that is capitalism. Capitalism is the voluntary exchange of economic goods. How are you defining it?
