Exactly ๐ฏ. and the reason for that is amazing too. Bread in ancient Rome was mostly baked in communal ovens. Loaves were stamped to indicate owner, customer or baker. This practice also helped to trace poorly made bread to its source.
That is so cool! Like one of those shared commercial kitchens that small batch bakers and hobbyists share today because they're so "experimental"...
