Can someone give me a rundown of how Nostr communities work? I just discovered https://satellite.earth/ and https://kiwi.nostr and I'm so excited! But how does the back end work? How do notes map to communities? How are community names registered or transferred? So many questions.

Wish I could answer the technical aspects but not my forte. I created the permaculture community and can add moderators.
There’s a tab for the modqueue of posts that have to be approved? Not sure exactly how it works.
I’m excited for it, especially when they can integrate with other clients/apps
