I see your bug report on the issue tracker, so it can be looked into.
We've discussed for a long time Seedvault is problematic. It needs to be replaced in the future.

Seedvault backups started hanging here for me around the AOS 16 release. No matter what I do (new seed phrase, formatted USB drive) it gets stuck. The only remedy to kill the process is to reboot. Subsequent attempts hang, too.
