I thought about getting into a distillery business selling bourbon, but it just seems too... whiskey
What do you use to add minerals back to the water personally?
consider these: https://mayuwater.com/products/essential-mineral-for-water
I'll check it out thanks
For me, its not nearly as much about the minerals in (or not in) your distilled water as it is about the PH of your distilled water. You have to add alkalinity back to the distilled water after you brew it to get a neutral 7 PH reading because the distilling process makes the water way to acid. If your water is to acidic, that is a big problem and if it to alkaline, that is also a big problem. If anyone is interested in what distiller I use and how I add alkalinity back in let me know.
yes please. I am! 🙏🏻
When I get back home I will get that information together and send it to you :-)
The distiller is available at www.h2olabs.com and the model number is 35TZ. It’s plenty for a family of 4.
The alkaline drops are available on Amazon. They are called Alkalife pH Booster Drops. I use 20 drop per full brew (1 gallon) Your water may test different so you have play with it. Buy some litmus test strips to test the pH of your brewed distilled water and add drops to try and get the pH to 7. Hit me up if you have any questions.
Liquid ph boosters are often toxic. Dry ones arent
I have not heard that before so I’ll do some digging into it. Thanks.
The secret is in the ingredient list
Citric acid and fulvic acid are safe. Phosphuric acid is not (this ones in all the liquid ph bottles)
Hey guys. I just got some feedback from a brain surgeon/ chemist doctor friend of mine. I was asking about the liquid Ph booster drops. He does not recommend using the drops I use because of the potassium hydroxide. He recommends using good old fashion Arm n Hammer baking soda. I’ll have to play around with it to see what amount to use to get to a neutral Ph of 7.
Some of us true organic growers know whats toxic!
Or: Buy water in glass bottles
not accessible, very unaffordable for the average person. it is great for the people who can though. just kind of see this as out of touch.
grateful to even have access to water at all to begin with. it’s a luxury that many in the world don’t have.
❤️
i do this. i remineralize with with pink himalayan salt or mineral drops/tablets
...also are we just going to ignore the PNAS
sorry, couldn't resist

Is this what you do nostr:npub1sg6plzptd64u62a878hep2kev88swjh3tw00gjsfl8f237lmu63q0uf63m ?
Interesting, bottled water might not be a better alternative than distilled tap water.
Hard to say what minerals, PH and redox potential we need
People are paying a lot of attention to what you've written.

For those who use a distiller what do you use or recommend to add minerals back into the water?
Brought back some zeolite with me from Bulgaria that came in super handy in Guatemala that has a huge issue with drinking water. One of our group thankfully traveled with his Berkey 👀 we added mineral drops, crystals like chungite and the zeolite to it... zeolite supposedly helps with heavy metal detox which is why I got in the first place (anyone feeling the nanoparticles accumulating and electrifying your nervous system mixed with wifi and emfs?!?), while also mineralizing the water.
For a few days I didn't have this set up and was drinking distilled water... my body was not absorbing it at all... I was sooo thirsty. As soon as I switched, huge difference.
Structure it too! You can either drink from copper vessel or make this device

If true, it leaves me wondering if there is a more effective way to consume microplastics.

i recommend milk, it has basically all the minerals you need, and you don't need to also drink water
A solar still, preferably.
This is blowing my engineering mind. I like reverse osmosis water but here we’re talking about a 5x on ppm purity with a $100 distiller. I ordered one for 270k sats and a jar or electrolytes. 👀 forward to the health benefits. It’s a great appliance for folks with excess of solar energy.
You mean like this? ;)
