For me, its not nearly as much about the minerals in (or not in) your distilled water as it is about the PH of your distilled water. You have to add alkalinity back to the distilled water after you brew it to get a neutral 7 PH reading because the distilling process makes the water way to acid. If your water is to acidic, that is a big problem and if it to alkaline, that is also a big problem. If anyone is interested in what distiller I use and how I add alkalinity back in let me know.

The alkaline drops are available on Amazon. They are called Alkalife pH Booster Drops. I use 20 drop per full brew (1 gallon) Your water may test different so you have play with it. Buy some litmus test strips to test the pH of your brewed distilled water and add drops to try and get the pH to 7. Hit me up if you have any questions.

Liquid ph boosters are often toxic. Dry ones arent

Citric acid and fulvic acid are safe. Phosphuric acid is not (this ones in all the liquid ph bottles)

Hey guys. I just got some feedback from a brain surgeon/ chemist doctor friend of mine. I was asking about the liquid Ph booster drops. He does not recommend using the drops I use because of the potassium hydroxide. He recommends using good old fashion Arm n Hammer baking soda. I’ll have to play around with it to see what amount to use to get to a neutral Ph of 7.
