It would be nice to have something that encourages some topic diversity. Bitcoin and nostr are great subjects, but unless we have wider diversity it's going to remain a niche platform. Attracting writers and journalists focused on a wide array of subjects should be a main goal of any such project.
Isn't that the cat biting its own tail? If journalists get direct payment for their articles from their readers via micropayments (streaming money), they will migrate away from other platforms like Substack, Mailchimp etc where they have to give money to their masters, allowing for a wider variety
