Does anyone know of a video editing software that is for person replacement? I think of the movie The Manchurian Canididate at the very end you see them take all the live cams from the assassination & you see them edit denzel out & replace him with a white guy in a totally different suit on all the live cams before it was released to the medias.

I want to find THAT program to think it was showed in 2004 that's the earliest form of control net in a non stable diffusion software. If they can show it in the movie then theres a software that did it. Now what software can replace a person in low quality live video security cameras?

This should be worth a bounty or something.

Did you ever see Rising Sun (1993)?

Part of its plot was tied to video editing. I doubt there were special tools at the time but the techniques may be similar in terms of capturing enough frames of background to clear out the subject, and then overlay with the replacement with aid of greenscreen. Would be interesting if there was automated ways to do tbis beyond manual frame by frame

For reference, heres a point in the trailer of an alteration

No I havent the only other movie I saw in similarity to video editing specifically was called Wag The Dog with Robert De Nero. It was a movie about the government using hollywood to produce fake videos so they could start a war to steal their oil & if I recall correctly there was a political sex scandal they covered up. But I think that was 1997 so using greenscreens was shown there. It was a good movie I think software really leaped forward during 2002-2004 maybe?

Maybe DaVinci Resolve? You can edit your live stream as it's being recorded. DaVinci Resolve is a powerful suit of professional video editing, VFX, color grading, and SFX. I don't have experience with editing videos while it's being recorded live. It was somewhere on their website that I remember read about the feature.

I will investigate this software I see from wikipedia it came out in 2004 so that lines up & was aquired by black mages in 2009. Thanks for dropping the name.

Yeah no prob. Are you a video editor?

I would be if I was making an income. I know how to use them just never made any profit using it even in my own videos. I've used wondershare filmora.

Ah, I see
